Job Title: Oracle Database Developer

Number of positions: 1

Length:  12 Months +

Work Address: HYBRID / 101 N 14th St, Richmond VA 23220

Immediate interviews – Webcam interviews ONLY

Please note that this position is HYBRID (1 day onsite and 4 days remote per week). Candidate must go to Richmond, VA on 1st day to pick up equipment and complete onboarding.


DOE - Database Developer 2 to assist with the completion of several projects at the Department of Education
ON SITE: 1 /day week
Duration expected: 12 months

On Site expected: 1 /day week
Must pick up equipment IN PERSON (if selected)
Duration: 12 months with poss extention.
Parking is NOT provided for contractors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Knowledge and skill in system development methodology (Applications development including analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation), and relation databases
  • Knowledge and skill in Linux, and Windows Operating Systems, SQL, PL/SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detailed understanding and experience with developing database procedures, triggers, packages, and processes in an Oracle 11g or later database. With an understanding of how the developed code interacts with the stored data and other layers of the system applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects and contribute to project scope and estimates of effort
    College degree in information systems, computer science, or related field or demonstrated progressively responsible experience in developing and maintaining information systems.
  • Candidates must have ALL the “Required” skills in order to be considered for the position. “Desired” or “Highly Desired” skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
