Job Description:
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Oracle SQL coding expertise writing SQL scripts, anonymous PL/SQL blocks, and in-depth knowledge of DDL, DML, and DCL commands.
5+ years of experience in optimizing and troubleshooting poorly performing SQL queries, interpreting and tuning query plans.
Provide support functions to include triage, test and deploy through the SDLC.
Proficiency developing and maintaining shell scripts
Critical thinker with ability to assess and recommend new smarter solutions within prescribed timelines
Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
Ability to develop and maintain documentation and able to explain complex technical structures in an understandable user-friendly format
Responsibilities:
Primary developer on special project to identify and remove historical data from the transactional system
Accurate estimates of development timelines
Knowledge of best practices for SQL development while adhering to security standards and governance guidelines
Engage with CSS project teams, to understand, clarify and confirm requirements and low-level technical design
Work with existing Data Architect to adjust data model as required to support requirements
Timely reporting of work hours in the CSS collaboration tools (e.g., Jira)
Timely and clear articulation of status of work completed and work in progress in daily stand-up
Delivery of completed work on or before the specified due date
