Mandatory Skills:
Containers (Docker), Kubernetes- Opensource as mandatory
Requirements:

  • Good Transition and Transformation experience in Kubernetes and PaaS technologies. Atleast 2-3 major transition experience would be preferred.
  • Knowledge about the transition phases including Due diligence, Knowledge gathering and transfer, Hypercare support, Operations stabilization, etc.
  • Strong experience with installation, management and upgrade of opensource and enterprise Kubernetes clusters.
  • Experience with Opensource preferably and also Managed K8s (EKS, AKS or PKS) is desired.
  • Good Knowledge on Docker and container technologies.
  • Experience/Familiarity with cloud computing services: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Experience with architecting highly scalable and highly available systems
  • Experience with setting up monitoring, logging and managing backups of a Kubernetes platform.
  • Good experience with Kubernetes security, storage, networking and RBAC.
  • Exposure to Service mesh like Istio, Consul.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes integration with Vault for storing and retrieving secrets.
  • Experience in integrating CICD pipeline to release new build to Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Helm for managing kubernetes deployment.
  • Good Knowledge on image scanning tools like Qualys, Clair, Anchore etc.
  • Knowledge on CIS Benchmark standard for kubernetes.
  • Strong experience with kubernetes security tools like Kube-bench, Kubeaudit etc
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff; ability to articulate business issues/concerns with staff, peers, superiors, and outside parties
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Exposure to infrastructure and platform capabilities - container, middleware, messaging, routing components
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to contribute to, and balance delivery against, multiple projects/demands simultaneously.
