• Execute Technology work ensuring safe systems of work utilizing existing tools, operating standards and work management/service management processes to deliver a premium level of support, executing the planned maintenance schedule (80% planned, 20% unplanned) while minimizing any impacts to business continuity.
• Monitor all aspects of network, systems, infrastructure and provide technical support to resolve issues before it becomes a problem and escalate where necessary.
• Co-provide 24x7 (roster basis) L2 technical support and response to all support queries internal and external, responsible for managing incidents to resolution.
• Execute out of hours’ changes.
• Monitor, configure, troubleshoot and support applications, servers, and virtual infrastructure.
• Executes maintenance activities according to the weekly work schedule and unscheduled work as required.
• Execute effective and comprehensive knowledge transfer from “Specialist to Specialist” to ensure continuity of service and that they are of a professional and high standard.
• Safe execution of change and service requests and resolution of incidents to service level agreements utilizing operational procedures, processes and tools and contributing to the knowledge base.
• •upport and maintenance of the technology environment to support business operations.
• Escalation of issues to drive the resolution to meet SLAs.
• Complies with the 1SAP Work Management processes related to work identification, execution and the capturing of related historical transactional data into 1SAP.
• Engage with other Technology and Operational teams for 3rd Level support as required.
• Execute business unit disaster/service recovery plans and actively participate in the regular tests as required.
