Position: Network Engineer with DNS/QiP/IPAM Experience
Location: Malta Town in New York State (100 % Onsite)
Duration: Long term Contract

Required Qualifications:
· Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, US or be willing to relocate to the area
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 8 years of Information Technology experience
· Experience with Network Administration
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong Experience in DDI Technologies, i.e., DNS DHCP & IPAM.
· Experience in Enterprise DDI Architecture deployment troubleshooting & administration
· Good experience in IPAM tools like Vital QIP or Infoblox
· Good experience in migration of DNS / DHCP / IPAM from one platform to other platform, server, appliances
· Strong knowledge on setting up high availability and failover configuration of DNS/DHCP/IPAM.
· Strong experience in configuring troubleshooting and managing services like BIND, DDNS, DHCP, NTP etc.,
· Very good knowledge in TCP/IP, HTTP, SNMP, SMTP etc., services
· Strong experience in any UNIX operating system and Windows
· Strong knowledge on subnetting, super netting, routing concepts of IPv4 & IPv6 Addressing
· Strong knowledge in configuring / managing DNS appliances, slave servers, Auth servers etc.,
· Good knowledge in monitoring tools
· Good knowledge in ITIL processes like Incident management, problem management, SLAs
· Good Experience in managing domains, views, registries, routing registries, etc.,
· Strong knowledge in configuring DHCP services and deployment of scopes, configuring fail overs and load balancing techniques in DHCP.
· Strong knowledge in understanding the NOC / monitoring teams and handling the escalations.
· Good knowledge in configuring and deploying DDNS, DNSSEC, techniques
· Good knowledge in deploying/upgrading patches, packages & software versions, and tools
· Cisco networking technologies (routing/switching )
· Firewall products and technologies
· Forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus
· The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
