THIS POSITION WILL BE ON-SITE FULL-TIME M-F

The essence of this position is to support a video management system network. This includes the creation of vlan's, VRF's, subnetting, and server maintenance and support.
The environment is a combination of Juniper switches, Microsoft 2019 Servers on Dell platforms, physically and virtually. This does include a mirrored Hyper-V cluster with Dell SAN's and will be monitored and maintained. While a vendor continues to install cameras, this role will also provide the escort for the vendor to a variety of buildings and data closets and provide direction for cable installation and management.
As well, there will be direct interaction with the project manager and the Department of Capital Police. Cameras are to be reviewed daily for connectivity within the video management system; Briefcam and Milestone. Coordinate efforts such as Windows Servers updates with the team manager.
