Role: Network Automation Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Fulltime (Remote until Covid)
The Area:
· Network design and management automation.
The Responsibilities:
· To support the team's design automation effort by maintaining the integrity and accuracy of network data.
Minimum qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
· Familiarity with ISP network device hardware structure and their basic functionalities, including:
· Juniper High-End Routers
· Juniper High-End Switches
· Juniper High-End Firewall
· BNG (Broadband Network Gateway)
· DWDM (optional)
· OLT(optional)
· Familiarity with ISP network routing and management protocols, including:
· SNMP
· LLDP
· ISIS and OSPF
· BGP
· MPLS, RSVP and LDP
· VLAN and VPN
· Experience in data manipulation with light scripting skill to deal with common data formats:
· Python or Golang(preferred)
· JSON/YAML/Protobuf (preferred)
· SQL(optional)
