Job Title: Network Architect Job Location: NORTH BERGEN, NJ 07047-1560 Duration: 6+ months Profile Summary The candidate will be responsible to provide Level 3 and Architect Role - Data Core Network Position Requirements Essential: 10 plus years of IT experience Minimum of 8 years' Experience in Data Network and providing solutions to projects Good Experience on Router, Switches, SD-WAN, Firewall, IPsec VPN, Load Balancer, WAF and Datacenter management Specialized on Cisco Nexus Platform configuring LAN and SAN switching Hands on Experience on Azure Cisco ASA firewalls, Paul Alto, IPS / IDS. Good experience in supporting Datacenter environment Excellent customer service skills May require to travel on need basis Preferred: CISCO Certification - CCNP, CCIE and Azure Network Role & Responsibilities Perform L3 operations that include Network & Security hardware and software installations, configuration, performance, trouble shooting and change management, upgrades and modifications to enhance network performance, capacity, integrity and compatibility. Desktop/ Site to Site VPN tunnel creation and troubleshooting. Proactive monitoring and root cause analysis Monitor and implement network security solutions to protect against known and unknown threats Generate NOC reports and report to management on regular intervals Create Knowledge base and sharing with team members. Competences Functional: Good Communication and Interpersonal skills Positive and flexible attitude Ability to think clearly, identify risks, anticipate eventualities and resolve problems Ability to understand and comply with business processes and procedures Ability to analyze data and identify patterns / trends / exceptions etc Ability to provide support for Global customers Technical: Expert in Cisco Routing & Switching platforms include datacenter class switches Good Experience on EXPRESSROUTE, Vnet Creation, IPsec VPN, Load Balancer, WAF and Firewall Deployment on Azure cloud. Expert in Cisco Nexus Platform configuring LAN and SAN switching Expertise level in security products like Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco Nexsus, Juniper products, Load balancers, IDS/IPS and Bluecoat products Experience in configuring and troubleshooting EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, QOS, TCP/IP, IPSEC, MPLS, GRE,VTI, STP etc., Good Knowledge in Cisco and F5 Load balancers, Websense proxy. Good knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting open source and Cisco Network & Security monitoring tools
