Job Title: Network Architect - Cisco

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
Implement and support infrastructure, which includes current networking, compute, hypervisor, and storage technologies such as Cisco Networks, Cisco UCS, VMWare, Oracle Z series, Dell Compellent and EMC.
Assist in the design, system analysis, security and administration of a heterogeneous Windows and Linux Red Hat enterprise environment.
Provide input for the short & long term architecture strategy for IT infrastructure. Communicates and validates infrastructure architecture with the management team.
Provides third level support for incidents and problems.
Adhere to Change Control policies and procedures.
Monitors the Infrastructure Architecture Ticket Queue and works on tickets assigned.
Meet project deliverables for new and / or changes to the existing Infrastructure Architecture.
Requirements:
Strong Cisco experience is required.
8+ years of experience across the entire enterprise data center stack from the hardware to the application layer
3+ years of experience conceptualizing and architecting the target environment for VMware and Network Data, Firewalls
