Net Developer/Lead

Description:

As an experienced Microsoft Developer this role is responsible for working closely with the AgriSompo Program Managers and IT Leads to direct a team of off-shore developers in the upgrade of the AgriNet software platform.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • · Serve as the lead communicator between on-shore and off-shore development teams.
  • · Ensure that functional and non-functional requirements are clearly understood by the development team and appropriately translated into reliable, scalable, portable and highly available code
  • · Participate in code reviews and validations for other developers and ensure that proper level (as required by the AgriSompo SDLC) of design documentation, traceability and test coverage are in place for functional and non-functional requirements and use-cases
  • · Ensure that code quality is exceptional and deadlines are met

 

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar
  • · 10+ years’ experience as a .NET developer.
  • · 5+ years’ experience leading a team of developers
  • · Extensive knowledge of .NET languages
  • · Proficient with front-end development languages including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • · Knowledge of multiple monitoring tools and how to mine them when troubleshooting
  • · Deep understanding of SQL applications databases
  • · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • · Extensive experience in application development tools (e.g. GIT, Visual Studio/Azure DevOps and source control), testing, and process and configuration management
  • · Positive attitude and the ability to remain flexible in a dynamic environment
  • · Ability to manage time across multiple, simultaneous projects and timezones
  • · Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, as well as the maturity to work independently and lead and off-shore team
