Job Description
:
We are looking for a Full-time/contract employee for a Natural Administrator.
The Candidate will perform highly complex mainframe computer systems analysis work. The candidate will successfully install and upgrade mainframe Software AG products into a z/OS environment, and other software into a RedHat Enterprise Linux or Windows server environment and will prepare and coordinate with Desktop Support the installation of some Software AG products into client Windows laptops, as required; provide daily technical support and systems analysis of applications using Software AG products and recommending technical solutions to a variety of business needs. Work involves the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of Software AG products on z/OS, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Windows server and Windows client platforms. Contributes to the development of operating procedures for technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and innovative infrastructure software administration techniques. Provides guidance in troubleshooting and solving complex problems related to incident and problem calls related to Comptroller applications which use Software AG products such as Natural, NaturalONE, Natural Engineer, Predict, PAC, EntireX, webMethods Integration Server and Command Central, and the processing of related service requests and tasks in the Agency’s workflow management system, ServiceNow. Supports projects that cross functional agency systems and other state entities that require coordination, planning, and scheduling during project development and implementation.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS(Required):
Experience with installing and supporting Adabas for the z/OS platform
Experience with installing and supporting Natural for the z/OS platform
Experience with EntireX enabled Natural RPC servers running on the z/OS platform
Experience with MVS/JCL
Experience with utility programs and products including: IDCAMS, CLISTS/REXX, SORT, TSO
Experience completing technical documentation
Experience coordinating the testing, debugging, and preparing of test data and interacting with technical and non-technical staff in the coordination of changes
Experience with coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members and other personnel as required
Experience with Control/M for z/OS or an equivalent job scheduler
Experience with RACF, Natural Security and Active Directory security protocols and highly complex application security requirements
Skills(Preferred):
Experience with CICS Transaction Server for z/OS
Experience with DB2 for z/OS
Experience with installing and supporting Predict Application Control (PAC)
Experience with installing and supporting EntireX Broker for the RedHat Enterprise Linux platform
Experience with installing and supporting webMethods Integration Server in a RedHat Enterprise Linux platform
Experience with installing and supporting Command Central in a RedHat Enterprise Linux platform
Experience with JES3 and/or JES3Plus
Knowledge of the z/OS architecture
Experience with installing and supporting Natural Engineer in a z/OS environment and in a Windows Enterprise server environment
Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Mainframe Telecommunication, TCP/IP
Knowledge of NaturalONE
Experience supporting Disaster Recovery Hot Site testing
