Position : Azure DevOps Engineer
Location : Atlanta GA
Duration : 6+ Months
Responsibility :
As a Senior DevOps Engineer your role will include, but not be limited to the following:
Works closely with the technical and support teams to deliver and manage services with high uptime
Advocate for automated processes to improve quality, deployment, and support of multiple products
- Build and maintain solutions and tools for automated builds, deployment, monitoring, and operations
- Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes for deployment and infrastructure issues
- Builds new environments and updates existing environments through use of automation
Maintain cloud infrastructure for multiple products and services
Essential skills :
4+ years of practical experience in DevOps engineering;
7+ years of recommended experience in IT;
Infrastructure as code design, deployment and maintenance experience required;
Mandatory experience of working with Terraform product to establish reusable patterns that can be leveraged on all clouds (with emphasis on Azure);
3+ recommended expertise with Terraform, specially module creation
One of the Azure cloud Certifications (preferred "Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions" or "Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies")
Containers, Docker, Kubernetes (or equivalent) and using these technologies for the architecture of multi-region, load-balanced resilient (microservices type) platform
Strong Linux & Windows skills
Good scripting experience in one or more of the following: PowerShell, Python, Go;
5+ years'' experience with version control systems and tools (Git, SVN, GitHub, GitLab);
5+ years recommended experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Maven, Bamboo, Jenkins, Travis, GitHub, GitLab);
Proficient in configuring networks LAN/WAN, VPCs, VPNs, Firewalls, etc.
High motivation and good team player;
Passionate about technology;
Self-driven in research and sharing best practices within the team;
Highly proficient in English communication skills, with an ability to present to senior level management
Knowledge of agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
Understanding of the Non Functional Requirements (NFRs) of projects and how Platform architecture can make systems secure, resilient and performant
