Role: Middleware Engineer (Unix or Microsoft) 2 roles for each
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration : 1-2 year contract
MOI: Phone and IN-person
Key Skills:
Configure, implement, and tune solutions to meet business and technical requirements on designated projects
Participate in system testing activities related to infrastructure solutions
Create technical documentation to ensure effective operations/support of the infrastructure solution
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Monitor availability and reliability and take remediation steps when necessary
Assist with operations and production coverage; provide 1st and 2nd level support for technical area of responsibility
Support/Perform change requests as required for hardware upgrades, additions, configuration changes, etc. with proactive co-ordination with vendors and Ally stakeholders
Comply with Change Management, Release Management, IT Risk & Compliance processes and standards

Qualifications
Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent
Proficiency in all the infrastructure layers, hardware, OS, virtualization, storage, network, database and security
Strong service orientated, collaborative attitude with both peers and internal customers
Strong problem solving capabilities
Solid understanding of data security requirements, policies and auditing processes
Constant process improvement thinking to reduce delivery time and increase customer satisfaction
