Role: Middleware/Cloud Engineer
Location: Nashville, TN

Job Description:
Looking for Middleware engineer with AWS experience. You should be able to guide business in choosing new Infrastructure build and deployment methods.
You should be able to translate On-Premise legacy systems into AWS native or cloud friendly systems and be able to draft migration road map.

Required Skills:
3+ years of experience in AWS environment setup and administration.
4+ years of experience in installation and administration of WebServers like Apache, NGINX and IBM Http Server.
4+ years of experience in installation and administration of middleware/ J2EE Application servers like Tomcat, JBOSS and IBM WebSphere.
4+ years of experience in shell scripting.
2+years of experience in containerization tools like AWS ECS, Dockers, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
2+ years of experience in log mining tools like Splunk, Elastic (ELK) and Datadog.

Responsibilities:

Performs day to day administration tasks like Installation, configuration and administration of Middleware servers.
Perform capacity planning of server and track resource utilization using AWS native tools.
Research and implement proactive application performance monitoring using AWS native tools.
Identify the existing applications/middleware servers suitable for containerization.
Perform regular upgrade or patching of the servers using automation tools.
Automate the redundant administration and maintenance tasks.
Provide guidance to application owners in choosing the right middleware, deployment and hosting strategy.
Troubleshoot issue by working closely with development and vendor support teams.
