We have a position with our direct client for a Mid Java Developer. The successful candidate will have experience building Rest-APIs and micro-services using Spring Cloud. Solid experience with a UI framework will be necessary.

Core Responsibilities:
Building industry-changing, event driven, workflow-based applications to feed customized predictive models running in the Microsoft Azure cloud environment
Working with the latest and greatest stack of technologies including Spring Cloud and Spring Boot
Designing/developing highly functional, responsive web interfaces using the latest front-end technologies including Vue.js, Vuetify.js, jQuery, CSS3 and Bootstrap
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
Previous experience working as a member of a high-performing Agile team
3+ years of experience with Java development
Experience with building modern REST-APIs and micro-services using Spring Cloud and industry best practices
Experience with SQL Server, DB2 or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases
Experience with JUnit testing
2+ years of JavaScript experience
Experience with UI frameworks in order of preference: Vue.js, React, or Angular
TypeScript experience is a plus
Strong understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or Subversion
Exposure to responsive design and cross-browser/device/version compatibility
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively as part of an Agile team
Ability to independently design and implement complex applications
Ability to work closely with team members on code reviews and give and receive constructive feedback
Desired:
Experience with the Bootstrap front-end component library
A good understanding of usability, interaction design principles, and an awareness of how product design impacts business outcomes
Experience with MS Azure and/or AWS
Familiar with Node.js
Experience with Jira and Confluence
