Job Description :

Role: Microstrategy Developer

Location: Columbia, SC

Duration: 12 Months

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Microstrategy schema design and migration from other reporting platforms (Tableau) experience
  • Design and architect MicroStrategy schema objects such as Facts, attributes and hierarchies that support customer requirements.
  • Designs/develop complex reports and dashboards for business requirements; recommends the best visualization representation for a solution; collaborates with Data Engineers to prepare data that support reporting

 Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • 5+ years of experience in relevant field
  • Strong SQL programming skills
  • Hands on experience with Oracle or equivalent RDBMS, SQL client tools such as Toad, Zeppelin notebooks, SQL Plus other SQL clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a bigger team

 

Desired qualifications

  • Exposure to AWS S3, Redshift, Glue, Dynamo DB etc.
  • Writing Bash and Python executable scripts.
  • Knowledge of Financial Products, Risk Management, Portfolio Management will be a plus but not mandatory
