  • The eCommerce QA will be responsible for creating a best-in-class testing approach for regression and feature testing, implementing, and driving a testing strategy with a focus on quality improvement. They will Partner with the eCommerce Product Manager, IT, and development vendor to update the process and tools for testing development work against business requirements. They will Research emerging tools, trends, and methodologies to enable an agile approach.
  • Responsible for collaborating with the eCommerce Product Managers, IT, and development vendor through the project initiation, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of enhancements and bug fixes. Provide status updates to appropriate teams regarding issues, validation, and tracking of the implementation. sales. Funnel learnings back to the development teams in a consistent and digestible manner to continuously improve product and development approaches.
  • Own functional test case development for functional testing. Partner with IT for system integration test case development and testing while Establishing testing/process requirements with the development vendor's testing team to ensure best practices.
  • Liaise with the Business and Customer Care teams to log and validate defects. Work with the eCommerce Product Manager to influence prioritization for development work and communicate status changes with the defect owner.
  • Define the test automation strategy and direct its implementation to create quality assurance and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience working as QA and recent experience working in eCommerce(High preference for someone who worked with Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware)
  • Candidates will have experience testing interactive websites where users can make purchases online.
  • Ability to make solutions-oriented, creative, and innovative contributions in highly demanding situations.
  • They must have experience leading testing efforts for large cross-organizational software development projects and effectively communicating to all levels of leadership the overall test plan, current status, issues & risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and learning new skills.
