Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer / Mainframe Systems Engineer Term: 12 Months Location: Atlanta, GA Description: We are looking for experienced Mainframe Systems Engineers / Developers with experience with the IBM z/OS operating system, IBM major subsystems (CICS, DB2, IMS, MQ, JES2, etc, ISV software products (CA, BMC, etc, RACF, and Top Secret basics, usage of ISPF/TSO, etc. Desirable - * Software AG technologies (Natural language, COMPLETE, ADABAS, etc * zTPF operating system. In this role, you will be in part responsible for the day-to-day infrastructure oversight of our VMS platform and its adjacent internal and external platforms. You will work on multiple products, activities, and projects. We are looking for someone that can work independently on complex tasks, projects, activities, and support assignments that require advanced skills in multiple technical environments. You should have advanced knowledge of Mainframe operating systems and related system utilities, large systems software products, participates in problem diagnosis and resolution activities, executes performance analysis tuning and capacity planning, and could request WLM support for IBM Mainframe z/Series z/OS Systems. We are an IBM outsourced client and operate the VMS platform as a Mainframe-as-a-Service (MaaS) offering.
