Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: 9 Months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement Description:
Project objective – Retirement of Mainframe PRISM application and reengineering of all interface applications to disconnect from PRISM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
Mainframe programming background
Knowledge of BCBSM membership processes
Strong communication skills
Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 5 years IBM Mainframe Developer experience
Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, IMS DB / DC, DB2
Analytical and system thinking
Accuracy and attention to detail
Writing and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Self-motivator
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with retirement of large Mainframe applications
Healthcare experience preferred
Insurance industry experience.
Distributed application development experience
System Analysis experience preferred
MS Excel, MS Word. MS PowerPoint and MS Visio.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor''s degree in related field
