Mandatory Skillset : Mainframe Technologies - Cobol, Vsam, JCL, DB2, CICS hands on experience.
Nice to have Skillset : SAS, Experience in Insurance domain will be an added advantage.
Job Description:
1) Accountable for translating the high level solution design into application software detailed design artifacts and ensuring they are maintained and reviewed throughout the project life cycle.
2) Ensuring the detailed design and implementation of the changes to meet the functional and non-functional requirements and Ensuring the appropriate application components are installed and configured to meet the requirements for all environments (development, test, stage and production).
3) Ideal Candidate to have 8+ Years of exp in Cobol, Vsam, JCL, DB2.
4) Problem-solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.
5) Should be able to do status reports, status meetings with customer, project tracking , mitigating risks, assisting offshore teams technically and functionally.
