Candidate will have proficient knowledge of IBM Assembly language
5+ years of development and maintenance experience of assembler application(s).
The analyst will have deep understanding of the assembler application architecture and the application component dependencies including how the assembler programs interact with other z/OS subsystems.
Expertise in the z/OS system is a key requirement.
Knowledge of Pl/1, C and how data management systems work is also important.
The analyst should have experience using automated tools to aid in developing an understanding of the application(s).
Previous experience in modernizing an assembler application and related performance optimization is also desired.
