Responsibilities:
The Systems Administrator will provide hands on experience supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, support and patching of Linux and Windows servers. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer. One (1) two (2) years of experience as a Systems Administrator is required. This position is full-time temp to perm.
Required Tasks:
- Installation and configuration of Windows desktop computers
- Provide desktop support to end users resolving issues
- Windows Active Directory Administration: creating/modifying domain user accounts
- Perform routine hardware and software maintenance to ensure proper upkeep and utilization of systems
- Knowledge and experience configuring DNS, SFTP, FTP, SMB and NFS file sharing
- Experience creating and modifying user accounts on Ubuntu Linux
- File system permissions management
- Applying security patches and updates to Linux and Windows Servers
Knowledge of following is a plus but not required:
- VmWare
- Data Storage Systems
- Apache Web Server Configuration
- Carbon Black Endpoint Detection
- Network Switch Management
