Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain servers on RHEL 7, 8.
- Manage/Maintain Linux based physical / virtual servers.
- Install software as well as system patches. Working knowledge of yum repository concept in RHEL7.
- Work with application support team, Project managers to help them identify OS level requirement as and when required.
- Manage network, firewall, and routing configuration on RHEL 7 hosts.
- LVM2 configuration / Filesystem management.
- Perform OS level user management , file permission/ownership changes , sudo configuration.
- Good troubleshooting skills to manage system hardware, network, and operating system problems
- Working experience with shell scripting ( BASH / KSH ) concept and debug for any errors.
- Monitoring alerts handling, service requests management.
- Support innovation of system architecture.
- Provide on-call support
- Manage day-to-day tool infrastructure, including tools and systems, troubleshooting issues and identification of resources needed to resolve problems.
- Document designs, processes and procedures
