Job Title: Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Additionally, this role will execute compliance functions, maintain a clear communication channel and manage change

Essential Job Functions:

# Collaborate with business and technology platform owners to prioritize feature requests and projects; manage backlog grooming, scheduling, and change.

# Define the feature/project scope including goals, deliverables, schedules, and budgets, and manage scope changes.

# Translate business feature requests and requirements into technical specification documentation including Use Cases, Test Conditions, Sequence Diagrams, data layouts, performance, and security requirements (BDDs, TDDs).

# Drive the application of solid engineering practices, leading/assisting with design, specifications, code reviews, and working with team members to troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring security and compliance protocols are followed.

# Identify and escalate risks and key issues to management for prompt resolution, propose resolutions and mitigations.

# Measure, monitor, and communicate technology performance of applications.

 # Work with project manager and QA lead to create the user story estimation and acceptance criteria.

# Provide hands-on technical support and guidance for defects or issues that arise for the product.

# Provide deep technical insight, implementing technical improvements as needed.

 

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

*Experience*

* Multi-disciplined IT experience (5 years).

* Team lead role managing IT projects from discovery through delivery (1+ years).

* Standard software development methodologies including Agile (3+ years).

* Ticket management (Jira/Rally)

* Strong background in systems engineering.

* Familiarity with Automotive Digital Retailing.

 

*Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities* 

 * General understanding of website development with front-end technologies and web services (e.g. JavaScript, Node, REST APIs, JSON)

* Experience working with .Net and UI/Web applications.

* General understanding of Relational and NoSQL databases.

* Hands-On experience in using testing and debugging tools like Chrome Developer, Postman, and IDE plug-ins.

* Proactively problem-solve and multitask while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

* Follow-through mindset to uphold a ‘close the loop’ culture.

* A positive approach to serving customers and providing exceptional customer service.

* Ability to demonstrate good judgment, high ethics, and project a professional image.

* Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

* Excellent organization, flexibility and time management skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
