Role: Lab lead
Location: Philadelphia, PA
· Fundamental understanding of wireless networks and RAN technologies
· Hands-on working experience in next-generation wireless technologies (LTE, 5G NSA/SA, and WiFi) in lab and production environments
· In-depth understanding of the cellular network architecture
· Awareness of cellular service provisioning and activation procedures
· Work with cloud infrastructure for virtualized and cloud native network functions
· Work with commercial and pre-release Android and iOS devices
· Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions
· Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines
· Assess vendor capabilities and test strategies
· Upgrade network hardware and software components as required
· Basic understanding of SIM profiles and SIM management functions
· Awareness of foundational networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, Ethernet, QUIC, MP-TCP)
· Explore novel approaches to system integration with existing networking technologies
· Work with Engineering teams to define detailed Engineering requirements and system-level design, as well as providing architectural expertise and guidance
· Work with cross-functional teams (network, cloud, software, compute) and develop technical activities for customer trials and deployments
