Title: Senior SAP APO Consultant
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Long term contract
Responsibilities include:
Monitor and provide system support for SAP APO ensuring that system operates under the Service Level Agreement regarding availability, performance, accuracy, reliability.
Troubleshoot system issue when occur, identify the root cause and provide and implement the solution in timely manner.
Provide end-users with SAP APO system support
Configure, maintain, and monitor SAP APO system including, but not limited to, Planning Object Structure, Planning Area, Planning Book, Macros, Activities and Background jobs, Process Chains.
Coordinate and lead projects for enhancement, new feature, system upgrade, or new system implementation
Gather business requirements for enhancement, new feature, system upgrade, or new system implementation.
Design the IT solution fulfilling these requirements following both Supply Chain and IT best practices.
Create test cases for unit and integration test, Perform unit test and system integration test.
Assist users acceptance test.
Troubleshoot to identify and fix bugs that arise in unit test, system integration test, user acceptance test
Coordinate cutover and Go-live activities.
Write and maintain IT System documentation
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using for example Kaizen concept.
Perform other tasks as directed by manager
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Master degree
Ten years of work experience
Five years experience in SAP APO with hands-on expertise in SAP APO system including, but not limited to, Planning Object Structure, Planning Area, Planning Book, Macros, Activities and Background jobs, Process Chains.
Eight years experience on SAP technology
Experience in working with global teams
Experience in Sales, Pricing, Quoting applications is a plus
SAP, APICS, Lean, or PMP certification are a plus
