Role: OSI PI Developer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: Long term contract
JD: Role Description:
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a PI Developer and must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment supporting internal and external customers. You will work as part of a project team that is responsible for developing custom solutions for an extensive OSIsoft PI infrastructure. You will also be involved in testing and deploying cutting edge technology and performing proof of concepts (PoC’s Some of the PoC’s will push the PI System to the limit.
Requirements
· A minimum of three years of experience creating utilities and custom solutions utilizing OSIsoft’s AF SDK and Web API.
· Required experience with the following;
· OSIsoft – PI SDK, AF SDK and Web API
· Interfaces - OPC, Custom implementation of API interfaces, Batch File interfaces, PI UFL for web scraping interfaces
· Software – VB.Net or C
· Testing – System integration or Unit testing
· Documentation – Creation and review of documentation
· Desired experience with the following technologies;
· OSIsoft - PI Coresight, PI ProcessBook, PI ACE and PI Integrators
· Microsoft - SQL server queries, integration and reporting
· Domain experience
· Oil and gas is preferred
