Oracle Database Administrator, New York City, NY 12+ Months Phone + Skype Who we are looking for Essential Attributes: Strong analysis and problem solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work closely with application and web developers. Essential Skills and Experience: At least 8 years relevant experience in IT, including 5 years as an Oracle Database Administrator or Database Developer Experience of Developing high-performance and high-availability Oracle database applications Experience of translating requirements documented by Business Analysts and Project Architects into database applications, transformations and queries Experience of Oracle database development including SQL optimisation, complex queries, stored procedures and data analysis Experience of Database and SQL Performance Tuning Oracle SQL and PLSQL developer experience Experience of data migration and/ or test data creation and management Administering data from multiple Oracle databases Desirable Skills and Experience: Experience of Oracle Multitenant Data migration Test data creation and management Experience in ETL scripting and query optimization Oracle certifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
