Position: AEM Architect Location: Austin, Texas Duration: 12+months Responsibilities for this role include: Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with TxDOT business objectives Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of an AEM implementation Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, DAM Work with Project Managers to manage the technical scope and client expectations Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer science, engineering, or prior experience in software development systems 7+ years' experience with AEM/CQ, other Java based CMSs Experience in technical management and technical execution of large digital applications across multiple frameworks and platforms. Preferred experience using devops tools like Jenkins Bamboo Maven etc Experience with web technologies JavaScript HTML CSS etc Agile concepts and experience working in Scrum teams preferred Good communication skills written and oral System architecture experience including cloud infrastructure, data management, RESTful APIs, basic system administration and dev-ops. Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging the Adobe platform, including AEM/CQ, CRX, CQ WCM, DAM Development and architectural experience with: WCM, CMS, CRXDE, CRXDE Lite, OSGI Framework, JCR, Apache sling, DAM. Custom AEM Reusable components, Widgets, Templates, Widgets on top of JCR and Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit CRX and AEM. Programming experience in J2EE, Java, JSP, Sightly, Servlets, Struts, Spring, Web services, ANT, Maven, HTML5, XML, CSS, EJB, JSON, JMS, JDBC, RWD, Oracle.
