Position: Azure Solutions Architect Location: Quincy, MA Duration: 6+ months(will be extended Position Description: Our large retail Client in Quincy, MA is looking for an Azure Solutions Architect to join their team Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Design and own short-term and long-term solution architecture for the data & analytics platform Develop and own solution architecture, development and maintenance of all data solutions in Data & Analytics platform as an Individual contributor and technical thought leader Design Data & Analytics platform using best practices and implement a system that is highly performant and best usable to the business users and data scientists Be a trusted advisor and thought leader providing GAP analysis for new projects considering existing technologies, next generation technologies and required solutions Works with business users, data scientists to design, develop, test, and implement business intelligence solutions in the Data & Analytics Platform Strong technical expertise in Data and Analytics cloud technologies - especially in Azure - Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL DW, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake (Gen 1 and Gen 2), Azure HDInsights, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Lake Analytics Designs and develops reports, dashboards to support decision-making within the business and IT Required Skills: 1. Azure Analysis Services AAS (or SSAS Tabular 2. Experience with MOLAP and DAX 3. Experience working with industry-leading database technologies (SQL, DW, etc 4. Experience in Azure Cloud technologies including Big Data / Hadoop 5. Experience building high performing and secure BI Modules 6.
