Job description
Applicant job responsibilities will include some of the following tasks (but not limited to)
Pre-silicon verification activities with FPGA synthesis and verification on FPGA setup.
New Silicon verification on bench setup using meters, oscilloscopes, Audio Precision equipment
Datasheet and device parameter verification
Working with design team for both pre and post silicon verification activities
Device and datasheet characterization
Chips will be mainly audio devices and audio SOCs
EMI verification
Product qualification activities as needed, burn-in, ESD/LU, etc.
Job Skillset
Senior FPGA engineer 8+ years of experience.
Required skillset
Proficient with RTL synthesis (Altera based tools), Verilog and VHDL
Proficient with programmable logic devices, FPGAs and implementing RTL synthesis into an FPGA setup
Proficient at Design verification through FPGA verification and RTL synthesis
Strong understanding of Digital circuits
Proficient at FPGA platform setup, HW development using Orcad and PADs
Must understand and be experienced with I2C, JTAG, SPI
Be familiar with reading, writing and verifying timing diagrams
Must be familiar and have experience using bench related equipment, Power supplies, Oscilloscope, Audio Precision equipment
Preferred skillset
Audio experience preferred
Familiar and experience with SNR, THDN, Gain, phase, crosstalk, frequency response, class AB, D, and G amplifiers
SOC verification experience preferred
10+ years Semiconductor test and verification experience
Matlab experience
DSP experience
