JOB LOCATION: Initially a Remote job to start with until the Covid crisis settles down and then on-site in California office. Work-From-Home.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
AEM is Adobe Experience Manager
Senior UI Developer on top of AEM 6.x platform:
Should have minimum experience 10 yrs. of hands-on experience in UI and AEM 6.x and above
Must be strong in jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CCS3, LESS, SCSS, HTL, SSR loading of assets, Angular or React
Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
Should have an experience on developing standards and guidelines based on latest industry accepted standards
Should understand and develop the code with an understanding of performance optimization
Develop the UI components based on mobile first approach
Understanding of various type of error logging mechanisms
Proficient understanding of Restful APIs, JSON
Should have hands-on experience on AEM 6.5/6.3/6.2.
Candidate should have experience in creation of Touch UI based components and editable templates.
Should have Hands on Bootstrap CSS and other front end client libraries.

GOOD TO HAVE KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient to technically lead the UI team to ensure the error free, performant, mobile first code.
Involvement in Analysis, Estimation, Coding, Implementation.
Bug fixing and troubleshooting the fixes of the existing application.
Participation in Agile Development Process and all SDLC layers
Should work independently without supervision and deliver timely high quality deliverables
Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent professional attitude.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, test, deploy, administrate, and maintain mission critical functionalities on ecommerce websites.
Responsible for initial design and development of new software and/or extensive software revisions.
Define technical requirements and create high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms.
Represent the team in cross-organizational development forums as well as customer requirements gathering and software validation and training sessions.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to understand complex problems and resolve them efficiently.
Use prior knowledge and experience to provide functional and technical support and leadership to colleagues.
Participate in training and orienting new software engineers as they join the team.
