Role: Java J2EE Developer

Exp: 8+ Yrs

Location: Hartford, CT 

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience in Java / JEE Development project and Maintenance.
  • JBoss Application Server configuration experience
  • Hands on experience in Design, Coding and Unit Testing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Hands on experience in handling Business customer and working multiple support teams located across the various locations in the globe. 

Good to have skills

  • Java-J2EE with JBoss Application Server
  • Project Details: Leading Application developer for Invest and Maintenance team for large Insurance Company located at Hartford, CT.

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in the design and development of REST API, SOAP Web services using AXIS / CXF, Java Messaging Services, Spring & JQuery, automated container platforms, deployment pipelines, and cloud-ready application architectures.
  • Experience in design and guide implementations on the middleware integration applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters using Java, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift by Red Hat.
  • Hands on Java and Java related technologies
  • Knowledge on the JBoss Application Server configuration and code deployment process
  • Advanced knowledge of Core Java, Java Design patterns, J2EE is required
  • Strong in design principles and modular programming techniques
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly is essential.
  • Expertise in working on multiple vendor model environments is required
  • Customer interaction and expectation management in terms of support & deliverables
  • Communication & reporting to customer stakeholders on day to to day basis
  • Need to look for new business opportunities by providing utmost customer satisfaction in the defined service areas
  • Assessment of risk & mitigation plan & execution till end
  • Produce all process related documentations, matrices and as part of project management
  • Continuous service improvements to customer by using innovative & cost-effective method in terms of profitability and Quality
  • Support and participation for internal audit as required
  • Good understanding in ITIL and SDLC process
  • Ability to work with onsite-offshore model
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
