1. 1-3 years of Java software development experience. Experience or knowledge in Spring, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Microservice Development, Mongo, Kubernetes, REST API design, Swagger, Junit
2. Experience building cloud systems, complex REST APIs
3. Experience with Build Tools (Jenkins, Docker), version control (Git) and dependency management (Maven).
4. Strong experience in software design

Responsibilities

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus
• An understanding of various programming languages Know about at least 2 foundational development languages (Java, Python, etc.)
• Experience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) for 1 or more years.

Job Title: Devops Engineer

Location: Trenton, NJ

Duration: Long Term contract

Responsibilities

• Engage in the whole lifecycle of services-from inception and design, through deployment, operations, and refinement
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
• Scale systems sustainably, and evolve services by identifying changes that improve reliability, cost, and performance
• Develop resilient operational services that provide key functionality for operations
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
• Participate in the Agile software development process
• Provide timely support to our 24x7 operations teams including on-call support
• Natural curiosity and ability to continually learn about our evolving complex ground system

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is desirable
• Internship experience or 1+ years experience in DevOps or Software Development or similar field
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues across multiple complex systems and propose and implement new solutions
• Understand the fundamentals of CI/CD, container infrastructure life-cycle, and software source control (git/Github)
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Understanding of software design, development, and troubleshooting
• AWS Associate or Professional Certification highly desired Experience with log aggregation tools like Elastic Stack
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of Service-Oriented and Microservice Architectures
