Team Profile:
The Trade Enrichment and Allocations Department engineers best of breed trade enrichment and allocation functions across all asset classes on the Institutional Securities platform. The department is critical in supporting eTrading and powering booking, confirms and settlements. Our systems sit at the heart of the firm’s processing plant and benefit from a unique vantage point for appreciating the full trade lifecycle and the many different businesses we enhance.
Role Overview:
The role offers a rare opportunity to work on large scale, highly optimized and mission critical systems. The successful candidate will join the cross-asset Client Allocations team in Montreal and will have a solid background in server side Java development, excellent communication skills and be motivated to work in a fast-paced environment where time to market is often paramount.
They will be interacting with our global partners in the Trading and Operations divisions as well as partner Technology teams to understand requirements and own all aspects of the SDLC. Solutions will showcase strong problem solving skills, innovative thought and an appreciation of change based risk.
Must have:
-Server side Java, Junit
-Relational Databases (DB2 / Sybase) or similar Linux
Desired:
-Prior experience of working in the Finance sector
-Python, PERL or other scripting language experience
