Production Support:
Individual will be working in a development lead to enhance existing custom built Java applications hosted on prem (but to migrated to AWS platform soon)
Resource is expected to lead a team of 4 other developers from offshore and build relationships with the client along the responsibility of the delivery
Primary Skills:
- 4+ years of Java development and object-oriented analysis and design
- Experience with development of Restful web services, spring batch, Apache Tomcat, SQL, RabbitMQ, GIT
- Solid debugging skills to troubleshoot functional and performance issues in the Java code.
- Experience with Splunk, AppDynamics and AWS.
- 4+ years of full software development life-cycle experience.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Secondary Skills:
- Solid investigative skills in tracking down functional and performance issues using Splunk, AppDynamics, AWS Cloud Watch
- Experience with managing applications in AWS (Docker, Lambdas, etc)
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting applications using AppDynamics, AWS Cloud Watch, Splunk dashboards
- Experience writing complex Splunk queries
- Experience working directly with the client is a plus
