The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology is seeking qualified candidates for the temporary contractor staffing position of Java Developer with Automation/RPA skills to join the agency based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Duties and responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the integration and design of new application systems and/or life-cycle enhancement to existing complex multi-platform (Java)
Participate in requirements gathering and design through client meetings, interviews, and workshops.
Participates in demos, code reviews, and communicates ideas for continuous project improvement.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems and issues. Reports, track, and address defects.
Plan and participate in the deployment of RPA platform components, including bots, orchestrators, development tools, and systems integrations, to meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, and performance.
Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance.
Must be able to multitask and willing to work on multiple projects at a given time
Minimum Qualifications & Skill Set:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields.
7+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on Java-J2EE-based solution development, Spring MVC, Hibernate, EJB, Spring.
Experience integrating applications and designing and developing web services and frameworks; extensive front and back-end experience required.
Experience in architecting and developing automation solutions with open source and/or market standard automation platforms & tools
Experience in customizing and enhancing the code using Java, C#, and .NET Java to develop process automation applications
Experience designing mark-ups, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications.
Experience working with AWS cloud-based services and tools.
Experience diagnosing/debugging faults in complex online services-based architectures using Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
Strong understanding and experience with SQL, relational databases - preferably Oracle, and SQL Server.
Knowledge of any Web technologies like AngularJs, Angular, React, NodeJs, and Ionic Framework
Certifications, and/or experience with RPA software tools (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) preferred.
Willingness to learn and become an expert in RPA and other automation technologies
