Role: Java Developer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months Client: Walmart Project Details ? Size, Scale, Scope? The application is financial ? every day finances what Walmart undergoes. Each store reports their finances to them. They use Kafka because they?re communicating with each other. Base language is Scala. They?re using light bend technology called Akka ? they need Akka here. API development ? they use play framework in the light bend family and written in Scala. Cassandra and Cosmos DB and they use Azure cloud for deployments. Azure ? need to know CI/CD. Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is needed. Akka need streams, clusters, Required Skills: 1. Java (Scala experience highly preferred, this team will be using scala eventually in the future) 2.
