Duration: 12+ months Required skills: SSIS Indexing SQL Stored Procedure Optimization SSIS flows Job Description: Sr. ETL Developer Solution Analysis and Design Perform analysis and design for complex ETL development and maintenance projects Develop and documents ETL designs and analyzes impact to systems and alternatives Determine the impact and potential costs of proposed changes Conduct and participates in peer design reviews Software Development Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of technology principles, best practices and procedures to the completion of complex ETL development assignments Develop complex code and configuration data using secure coding practices Ensure that all code, configuration data, and system documentation is accurate, complete, understandable, and adheres to VRS standards and Source Control processes Address security vulnerabilities Use tools to assure security; analyze outputs; recommend corrective actions Conduct and participates in code reviews Software Testing Develop and executes unit test scenarios and scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of business software using non-sensitive data Gather or creates test data to execute test scripts in compliance with VRS standards. Execute tests and documents results. Maintain performance baselines Work with QA on test results, defect remediation and script re-use.
