Job Description :
The Department of Finance seeks a highly skilled and experienced IT helpdesk support specialist to support the hardware and software needs of the various divisions of the department. The Contractor will be embedded with the Finance Information Technology Division that supports mission critical application for the department and enterprise. The Contractor will work one-on-one with Finance functional employees with varied technical IT experience to resolve their hardware, software, and networking issues. Clear verbal and written communication skills is required.


The selected Contractor will be required to pass a background checknbsp;
 


Position Responsibilities:



Operating System Administration: Windows 10Server Operation System Administration: Windows 2012 and higher
Mobile Operating System Administration: iOS, Android
Active Directory Organization Unit administration
Hardware setup and configuration: Desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, switches, scanners
Complex troubleshooting
IP network troubleshooting: Wired and wireless environments
Script development for automation: DOS batch, PowerShell, VBS
Microsoft Office 365 application expertise.


Qualifications:



7+ years of experience as a Help Desk/Desktop Support Specialist
Systems experience:
Operating System Administration: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10·
Server Operation System Administration: Window 2008/2012 ·
Mobile Operating System Administration: iOS, Android·
Active Directory Organization Unit administration
Hardware support experience and troubleshooting experience: ·
Desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, switches, scanners setup and configuration ·
IP network troubleshooting
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
