IT Project manager IDEAL BACKGROUND: Technology project management at large, highly matrixed organizations and delivering in both agile and waterfall methodologies. (Fortune 200) Health care experience, particularly in the care delivery setting (clinics, hospitals) Experience working with innovation type projects TOP REQUIREMENTS: Fundamental project management skills with both waterfall and agile methodologies Flexible and adaptable in a frequently changing environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal What experience will set candidates apart from one another? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) Lead overall technology engagements/projects/programs to successful completion, on time, on budget in line with desired outcomes Manage end-to-end accountability across multiple teams for delivery Setup and execution of appropriate structures and processes for project mobilization, execution, governance, performance management and reporting Establish project level cadence and drive ceremonies (e.g. Roadmap planning, daily scrum meetings, project status meetings with business stakeholders of various levels, retrospectives) Partner with business and technology leaders to drive the definition and refinement of the initiative backlog Maintain visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams ensuring sufficient face-time with key stakeholders Communication and engagement at multiple levels of the organization Develop and manage a project plan/schedule, dependencies and financial management Identify and proactively manage issues/risks and address program/project obstacles as needed What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily responsibilities? Project management Agile delivery skills Microsoft project or similar project planning tools Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Experience with Agile Management tools (e.g. Rally/Agile Central, JIRA, Azure DevOps) What skills/attributes are a must have? 5+ years project management experience Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously Ability to lead work efforts in with both waterfall and agile methodologies Experience working in large corporate (Fortune 200), heavily matrixed environments Flexible and adaptable in a frequently changing environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong facilitation, negotiation and influencing without authority skills High Emotional intelligence (EQ) and strong interpersonal skills What skills/attributes are nice to have?
