Job Description :

Reports To: Senior SharePoint Developer

 

The following is a general description of the usual responsibilities of the above position. This is not intended to be a complete list of all possible duties or assignments. All Scope Infotech employees have an overriding role in supporting the needs of our clients and the exigencies of our projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

·  Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written, designed, coded, tested, documented, and maintained.

·  Provides backup support for Senior Developers with developing SharePoint sites, troubleshooting existing sites, developing workflows, and assisting with resolving SharePoint-related helpdesk tickets.

·  Consults with business owners/users to identify and implement SharePoint requirements using standard web parts, workflows, and business intelligence.

·  Evaluates user request for new or modified program, such as a new SharePoint site, or analyzing and developing specifications for design, to determine feasibility, cost and time required, and compatibility with current system.

·  Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Must be able to interact with a cross-disciplinary team and to navigate between government clients, partner contractors and our internal team.

Must be adept in formal methodologies for structured software engineering and must be generally knowledgeable about the CMMI development model.

May assist in development of software user manuals.

Skill Qualifications:

·  The Intermediate SharePoint Developer(s) shall possess a degree (MS/BS/BA in IT) or scientific field.

·  Requires 2 or more years of experience with moderate to complex SharePoint systems.

·  Experience in systems design, programming and/or systems software and support.

·  Skill Set to Include:

·  Microsoft SharePoint Server Administration

·  Microsoft SharePoint Server Customization

·  SharePoint Helpdesk Support

·  Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, PowerPivot, Power Bi, Power Apps experience

·  Previous work experience with Metalogix, Gimmal, Nintex, Jira, GitHub, and ShareGate or other vendors

·  Experience utilizing Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

·  Customer communication skills

·  Experience with 508 requirements
