Role: Infrastructure Project Manager (ITIL) Middleware.

Duration: 15-18 Months Contract
Location: Plano, TX
Mode of Interview: Onsite only.
10+ Years of IT Infrastructure
7+ years of experience in supporting Network infrastructure support
5+ years of experience in managing direct and remote teams across globe.
5+ years of experience in participating in CAB meetings and approval flow of Production changes.
Understanding of Performance Analysis and Troubleshooting tools
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with technical / non-technical personnel including senior management
Great analytical and troubleshooting skills
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Project manager is responsible for delivery of IT Infrastructure elements of business projects.
Managing the teams both onsite/offshore, including full time employees and contingent workers
Coaching and mentoring members of the wider local and global team
Driving the security agenda by improving patching and procedures, implementing fixes, planning and executing upgrades, identify and mitigate new vulnerabilities
Drive the cost saving initiative by identifying areas where cost savings or efficiencies can be made, automate manual processes
Working with global colleagues and management to provide globally consistent processes and procedures
Working with engineering groups to deliver value to customers
Escalating and liaising with internal/external groups when required, resulting in satisfactory resolution
SLA calculation and achievement as per contract.
Investigating & troubleshooting root causes via problem management
Reviewing, maintaining and updating documentation
Facilitating knowledge amongst colleagues
Planning and controlled execution of releases into the managed environment
Providing input into Business Continuity Planning and Practices
Assisting in major planned events such as power down and disaster recovery
Responding to L1 and L2 escalations
Manages the delivery of large integrated solutions involving multiple stake holders
Determines overall project plan, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements for complex integrated IT Infrastructure Solutions.
Manage agreed scope of project & ensure project meet the quality requirements.
Leads the design/ delivery of multi-national/ multi-partner projects.
Is the key technical contributor for project management methodology and tools.
Solves complex, high impact project design, coordination problems
Interact with the various stakeholders on technology, project and process, be part of CR review and technical review meetings.
Understanding of IT Infrastructure technologies, trends, virtualization, networking, etc; and technologies such as AD, VMware, Windows Server, Cisco, Redhat, Exchange, Linux, SQL
Experience managing an active portfolio of projects
Experience with MS project server, reporting, analysis tools (SSRS, PowerBI) and Microsoft Office
Ability to provide ROI, IRR and payback analysis
Demonstrated ability to document requirements, create project plans, document risks and issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts preferred
Experience managing large IT infrastructure projects strongly desired
Demonstrated success overseeing concurrent projects
Bachelor’s Degree required; major in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science or similar field preferred
