Informatica MDM Developer

About the Role

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Requires BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Analytics related field and 10+ years’ related experience in analytics development
  • 6+ years technical knowledge on data architecture and data integration
  • 3+ years direct experience in Informatica MDM analysis, design, development, support and operations with a leading MDM tool suite
  • Experience working with AWS cloud suite of tools
  • Able to review designs independently, lead code reviews and ensure quality throughout the life of each project
  • Strong business and technical background in the area of master and reference data management
  • Demonstrate strong communication, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage day-to-day interactions effectively and relationships with a diverse group of colleagues
  • Hands on and expert on data analysis within and outside data warehouse, data consolidation, or data management / governance
  • Knowledge of different MDM architecture styles
  • Full lifecycle experience in waterfall and agile development methodologies
  • Intelligent but practical; you want to get things done and love simplicity
  • Excellent presenter, influencer

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a technical expert for  clients relating to forming and developing MDM solutions
  • Provides opinion and direction to the client on the proper design and approach on MDM
  • Work with the client architects and business stakeholders to understand the business needs, business rules and governance around master data management requirements
  • Work with the architects to develop a custom built light weight solution to quickly solve issues
  • Confirmation and identification of non-functional requirements
  • Review data mapping impacts from technical point of view
  • Review deliverables and oversee the design components
  • Analyze and define detailed MDM processes, tasks, data flows, and dependencies.
  • Lead teams and / or client discussions in designing and executing solutions and strategies for our clients
  • Meet with various levels within the client organization as required to provide delivery expertise and drive results.
  • Ensure all deliverables are completed with a high satisfaction and build client and Trianz peer relationships to build trust and confidence.
  • The ideal candidate has the capacity to learn new tools and concepts quickly, work across industry verticals as well as understand business needs and translate them into solutions. They are intellectually curious, enjoy learning new products, and ask a lot of questions
