Job Summary: In alignment with architectural design, will serve as the technology solution implementer. Responsible for overseeing and leading the planning, organizing and estimating of technical solutions. Will provide subject matter expertise regarding architectural design and system solutions to better technology processes, implement improvement initiatives, eliminate redundancies and maximizes reuse of applications. Provides guidance and solution knowledge for IT policies, procedures, standards, tools, security and infrastructure. -Significant experience performing ETL functions to support Data Warehouses for operational reporting and analytics. - Extensive experience with Informatica performing ETL functions for complex transformations and loads. - Extensive experience with data warehouse platforms (Teradata, Sybase or Redshift) - Above average proficiency with Korn Shell scripting. - General understanding of BI Tools (Business Objects, SAS EG or MS Power BI) - Ability to complete technical designs and lead other developers Demonstrated success in delivering large warehouse projects. This includes working with architects, peers and developers to ensure solutions fulfill technical requirements. Hiring Specifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree - MIS, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. - 6 + years experience in computer applications development and/or system analyst position. - Experience in various Information Technology platforms (Client Server, Data Warehouse, Internet/Intranet, Electronic Commerce, etc) and how each fits within and/or complements the enterprise architecture. - Experience in systems development life cycles and project methodologies. - Knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure and ability to think strategically. - Ability to coach and mentor teammates. - Demonstrated understanding of infrastructure issues, including both business and information systems. - Ability to communication technical concepts to a variety of audiences. - Ability to think strategically - Demonstrated strong analytic abilities and strong problem solving skills.
