Job Responsibilities
Installation, Customization, and administration of CICS/Transaction Server on IBM Mainframe
Installation, customization, and administration of Abendaid, TMON, CICS Transaction Gateway, CICSPLEX, CAFC, INTERTEST and WTX on IBM Mainframe.
Learn and master critical proprietary business systems built on CICS
Maintain CICS environments in compliance with the security guidelines.
Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of CICS and associated software.
Diagnose and resolve CICS environment system abends and abnormal operating problems using system logs, and other available logs and documents.
Create, define, modify, and understand CICS parameters, CICS RDO definitions, CICS PLT Tables.
Develop/Maintain/Enhance in-house programs and utilities in COBOL, REXX and Assembler
Have an understanding and experience of IBM SMP/E environment and ability to use SMP/E to install software
Ensure stability of the above-mentioned products in support of many critical business applications
Ability to deliver multiple concurrent agile projects/tasks on time and a focus on quality
Participate in weekend DR tests
Participate in an on-call rotation
Follow a rigorous ITIL-based process
