Responsibilities:
· Short description: This position is for a Datacentre Networking Enterprise Architect F5 that serves as a primary resource for F5 configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting for the State of Michigan.
· Knowledge of the methods and techniques used to operate and configure F5 systems.
· Work cooperatively with others in a team environment to meet the expected levels of customer service.
· Ability to operate information systems input devices,conduct training and informational sessions.
· Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions.
· Ability to explain instructions and guidelines to others effectively.
· Knowledge of Cloudflare systems.
Skills:
· F5 LTM Experience including: Creation of VIP’s (Virtual IP), Troubleshooting knowledge, Installation and renewal of certificates, Irule creation and modification.
·
· F5 GTM Experience including: Wide IP's Created, Remediate CVEs, Ihealth/qkview knowledge.
·
· F5 ASM Experience including: Creation of policies, Fine tuning of policies while in learning mode. Troubleshoot policies while placed after blocking mode Monitor new learning suggestions.
·
· F5 Device-level experience including: Remediate CVEs, Ihealth/qkview knowledge, Open support ticket with F5 (last resort), Should be able to upgrade devices.
