Title: GIS Analyst
Location: 3712 Jackson Ave, Austin, TX 78744
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Important Note: Working remotely is accepted in accordance with TxDOT’s policies. If the resource is in Austin area, current requirement is to be in the office a minimum of twice a week.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This position is seeking a Geospatial professional with cartographic and data analysis skills using the Esri product suite. Position will perform complex GIS data development, integration, and analysis. Position will produce maps, graphics, data extracts, and reports. Most work will be performed using in house spatial database and custom user interface. Position will require contact with governmental agencies and coordination with other agency staff. Knowledge of SQL, FME, Python, or ArcGIS Pro SDK will allow for the opportunity to develop custom tools and applications to support business processes.
The workers' responsibilities and skills must include:
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
4 Years experience of Professional GIS analysis, data maintenance, and cartography. Knowledge of geospatial concepts, data, and platforms/software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online)
Preferred (Optional):
1 Years Experience with LRS systems and data entry and analysis
