A GCP Cloud Engineer deploys applications, monitors operations of multiple projects, and maintains enterprise solutions to ensure that they meet target performance metrics. This individual has experience working with public clouds and on-premises solutions. They are able to use Google Cloud Console and the command-line interface to perform common platform-based tasks to maintain one or more deployed solutions that leverage Google-managed or self-managed services on Google Cloud .
Work experience in GCP IaaS Services & GCP Products

- Terraform (if certified better)
- Hands on experience on IaC (infrastructure as code using Terraform)
- DevOps setup for IaC
- Tools chain for DevOps Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo/Jenkins, Visual studio code
- Hand on experience on GCP, IaaS and some extend to IAM and BQ (If GCP certified better)
Job Requirements:
• 6-10 years of experience in Information Technology (in the areas of Public & Private clouds).
• • At least 4 years of experience in Unix/Linux platform, command line and shell scripting.
• Experience in Infrastructure services - GCP IaaS Services & GCP Products or related cloud platforms.
- Product choice (e.g., Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Bigtable)
- Initializing data systems with products (e.g., Cloud SQL, Cloud Datastore, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Pub/Sub, Cloud Bigtable, Cloud Dataproc, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Storage)
- Creating a load balancer to distribute application network traffic to an application (e.g., Global HTTP(S) load balancer, Global SSL Proxy load balancer, Global TCP Proxy load balancer, regional network load balancer,
• Experience in Troubleshooting and supporting GCP Infrastructure services - GCP Compute, Network, Storage, Security, IAM, Kubernetes Engine and other Infra components and other environment build.
• Basic understanding in any standard webserver and related framework.
• Basic understanding on Networking and trouble shooting.
• Implement operational automation using scripts.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to creates, Contributes, and Implements to best practices of Operation
• Hands-on experience on assessment of environment
• Detailed expertise in common infra. Activities (i.e. Patch Mgt., Migrations, Upgrades, Assessments etc.)
• Knowledge and understanding of global security policies.
• Coordinate deployment of network security infrastructure with other members of IT organization.
