Job Description:
Manages multiple projects from estimation, initiation, planning, execution, releasing and deployments.
Work with various teams within the organization to ensure on-time delivery and work with presales and marketing teams on future prospects.
Experienced in concurrently managing development, maintenance and enhancement projects.
Forecasts resource requirements and work with HRD to meet resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and counselling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Achieves organisational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production releases, resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing changes.
Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analysing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Client Management
Manages day-to-day client interaction
Sets and manages client expectations
Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Builds a knowledge base of each client''s business, organization and objectives
Facilitates team and client meetings effectively
Holds regular status meetings with project team
Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
General understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design is highly desirable.
